I live in Glocester-court, Whitecross-street
. I had a good deal of linen in a little parlour; it was near the window that looks into a court, which is a thoroughfare; a pane of glass was taken out of the window, and by that means they opened the casement, and stole the sheet. Mr. Moulton came and told me that a lad had stole a sheet out at my window; we pursued the prisoner, and took him with my sheet in his apron; there were two others with him who made their escape.
[The sheet was produced in court, and deposed to by the prosecutor.]
