Michael Ham < no role > . On the 7th of November, between six and seven in the evening, going by Field-Lane, Holborn ; I felt something at my pocket; I turned round and laid hold of the prisoner's hand with my handkerchief in it: I took the handkerchief from him, and charged a constable with him: (the handkerchief was produced in court, and deposed to by the prosecutor.)

I never saw the handkerchief.
