: on the 23d of April three of us were at supper in a little back room; Mr. Aldridge turned about, and said there was a woman in the shop, and went out and brought in the prisoner from the street, and the things mentioned in the indictment; they were in a bundle; she had taken them as they lay bundled up in the shop.
