Elizabeth Thomas proceedingsdefend of the Parish of St. Andrew Holbourn , was indicted for feloniously stealing a Sheet, value 20 s. the Goods of John Brandrith proceedingsvictim , the 13th of March last. It appeared by the Evidence, That the Prisoner and her Husband came to the Prosecutor's to sell Linnen, it being their Occupation so to do about the Street, that between them the Sheet was taken away. But it appearing rather to have been taken by the Prisoner's Husband than the Prisoner, and also she being supposed to be under the Direction of her Husband, she was acquitted .
