James Washford proceedingsdefend , of the Parish of St. Giles Cripplegate , was indicted for privately stealing 28 Yards of Strip'd Silk Cotton, value 5 l. in the shop of Thomas Finch proceedingsvictim , the 16th of May last. It appear'd by the Evidence the Prisoner stole the Goods out of the Prosecutor's Shop, no Body being therein. The Fact being plainly prov'd the Jury found him Guilty to the Value of 4 s. 10 d. Transportation .
