John Page proceedingsdefend , and John Thomas proceedingsdefend , of St. Leonard Shoreditch , were indicted for feloniously stealing a Holland Shirt. value 14 s a silk Handkerchief, value 2 s. the Goods of Joseph Harrison proceedingsvictim , on the 4th of January last. It appear'd that the Goods were stole off a Line, as they hung to dry in Charles Square, and the prisoners (a Shoe cleaner and Link Boy ) were apprehended, upon which Page own'd that the Shirt was pawn'd to one Mrs. Holms in White Chappel, where the Prosecutor found it. Page Guilty 10 d. John Thomas < no role > not Guilty .
