William Williams proceedingsdefend , of St. Botolph without Aldersgate , was indicted for privately and feloniously stealing 3 dozen and 10 Horn Handle Knives and Forks value 40 s. out of the Warehouse of John Tranter proceedingsvictim , on the 13th of June last. It appeared that the Prisoner and another Boy broke a Board over the Prosecutor's Warehouse-door in the Castle and Falcon-Inn , and got in and took the Goods; but were stopt with them by a Porter in Thames-Street about 11 at Night, whom they told they had the Goods first of one Person, then or another; that the other Boy got away. The Goods taken on them were produc'd in Court and own'd by the Prosecutor, and the Prisoner's Hat was found in his Warehouse. The Jury considering the matter, found him Guilty to the value of 4 s. 10 d . Transportation .
