Thomas Jones proceedingsdefend , of St. Brides , was indicted for privately stealing a Silk Handkerchief value 1 s 6 d. from the Person of Samuel Illidge proceedingsvictim , on the 14th of May Last. The Prosecutor deposed, that coming over Fleet-Bridge he lost his Handkerchief, and found it immediately on the Prisoner, who took it out of his Bosom and threw it on the Ground.
