Thomas Jones proceedingsdefend , of St. Brides , was indicted for privately stealing a Silk Handkerchief value 1 s 6 d. from the Person of Samuel Illidge proceedingsvictim , on the 14th of May Last. The Prosecutor deposed, that coming over Fleet-Bridge he lost his Handkerchief, and found it immediately on the Prisoner, who took it out of his Bosom and threw it on the Ground. The Jury found him Guilty to the Value of 10 d . To be Whipt .
