Eleanor Taylor proceedingsdefend , of the Parish of St. Giles Cripplegate , was indicted for feloniously stealing a Gown, value 8 s. a Coat value 8 s. and a Hat value 4 s. the Goods of Joseph Cockley proceedingsvictim : and a few other odd Things, to the value of 2 s. 6 d. the Goods of Katharine Clarke proceedingsvictim , on the 30th of August last. It appear'd very evident, that the Prisoner had got the Goods in her Lap bundled up in order to carry away; but being detected, she dropt them. The Prisoner denied the Fact; but had nothing to say in her behalf; and therefore was found Guilty to the Value of 10 d .
