John Jones proceedingsdefend , John Mills proceedingsdefend , and Joseph Fisher proceedingsdefend , of the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields , were indicted for stealing a Pair of Brass Scales, and a Brass Candlestick , the Goods of Sarah Eland proceedingsvictim , on the 23d of Febuary . It was sworn that the Candle was blown out in the Shop, and the Candlestick and Scales taken away. Elizabeth Salmon proceedingsdefend was also indicted for receiving the same, knowing them to be stole . Mills and Jones own'd the Fact, but Fisher deny'd it; and it was prov'd that Salmon bought 'em for Half a Crown. They were all found Guilty .
