It appear'd that on the Date aforesaid the Prisoners were observ'd to sculk about the Prosecutor's Door, That Sweet with a Hook fasten'd to the end of a Stick took the Goods thro' the Kitchen Window (they being in a Basket) and made his Escape with them. The Fact being plainly prov'd against him, he was found
guilty
of Felony; but the Evidence not being strong enough against the other two, they were
acquitted
.
