Mary Lee proceedingsdefend and Elizabeth Debuke proceedingsdefend , of St. Dunstan's Stepney , were both indicted for privately stealing from the Person of William Marsh proceedingsvictim , a silver Watch with a Tortois Shell Case value 3 l. on the 2d of May last. It appear'd that the Prosecutor pick'd up Elizabeth Debuke at Green-Goose Fair, and carry'd her into an Alehouse; that while they were there together, she took his Watch privately out of his Fob. The Fact being clearly prov'd upon her, the Jury found her Guilty of Felony: But the Evidence not proving any thing upon Lee, she was acquitted .
