Mary Morrice proceedingsdefend , of St. Mildred's Poultry , was Indicted for feloniously stealing a Stuff Petticoat, 2 s. 1 lb. of Tea 30 s. a Fan 2 s. 6 d. a Vizzard Mask 12 d. with other Things , the Goods of Gabriel Chase proceedingsvictim , on the 6th of December last. The Evidence deposed, That the Prisoner was the Prosecutor's Servant , that when she left her place, part of the Goods mentioned in the Indictment, were found in her Trunk, and upon further search the rest were taken at her Sisters, and proof made that they were carried thither by the Prisoner. The Fact being plain, the Jury found her Guilty to the value of 10 d.
