, was Indicted for
feloniously stealing a wooden Runlet, value 2s. and twelve Gallons of sherry Wine
, the Goods of

last. The Prosecutor said, that he had been Robbed at several times, and lost several quantities of Wines, but could not tell who took them, There was another Evidence that said, the Prisoner was a Watchman, and opened the vault Door with a false key, and went in and took the Goods, and desired him to help him up with it, which he did, which was afterwards taken from him in Northumberland-Alley by the Constable. The Prisoner denied that he had any false Key; but did not deny but that he did desire to be helpt up with it upon his Shoulder. He could not call any to his Reputation, the Jury thereupon found him
Guilty
of Felony.
