Examination TextJudith Smith aged about 47 Years Lodging and one Mr Reads a Milliner in Devonshire Street near Red Lyon Square, Says she is the Widow of William Smith , who died two Years , and an half agoe, That she was married to him at the ffleet the 14th oath June 1708 as appears by Cert Safety kept house in his former Wife's tide against Cecill Street in the Strand , but how long he kept the same can't tell but that he paid about £30 Pr Ann Rent , but what Taxes knoweth not, left the same about 17 Years agoe and never kept house Rented £10 Pr Ann paid any Parochial Taxes since hath no Children by him but he hath two Daughters , when she had by his former Wife, Saith he never was a yearly hired Servant.
