Examination TextSarah Walker aged 33 years and upwards in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of William Walker (who has been dead two years and a quarter) to whom she was married at St Sepulchre Church London 11 years ago, he was Cabinet Maker by trade and was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mr Samuel Boler in the Haymarket in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served all his time out which expired about 12 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since, nor hath she this Examinant since her said husband's death, that she has two children by her said husband to wit Robert aged six years and upwards and William aged three years and upwards both now living and with this Examinant in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid. Taken in the workhouse of 15th day of March 1750.
