Examination Text | Mary Ogden aged about 21 years destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she was born in Eagle Court in Drury Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields, that she never was married bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes all was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 together, that her father Samuel Ogden (who has been dead about 10 years) was a Taylor by trade and lived in and rented an house in Eagle Court as aforesaid for the space of 20 years at the yearly rent of 18 pounds besides taxes and there died. Sworn the 23rd Day of November 1750 before James Fraser. |
