Examination TextAnn Wainwright aged about 30 Years Lodging with the one Mrs Smith in Naggs head Yard in Hedge Lane Saith she is the Wife of George wainwright who went from her last ffriday and wherer he now is or by what means to find him out knoweth not, That she was Married to him at St Martin's Church two Years the 31st day of May last, Saith he is by Trade a Shoemaker, that he was bound and Apprentice to one and Mr Edward Bagshaw under Exeter Exchange for Seven Years as one Mr Justin in St Martin's Church Yard told her And that he was turned over by said Mr Bagshaw to him for the remainder of the said Term,(he then living in Church Court) which she served the said Mr Tustin there & act See as he Informed her, since which he never was a yearly hired Servant, or are Housekeeper, Rented £10 Pr Ann or paid any parochial Taxes , as she knowith or ever heard, Saith see hath a Mothe who is a Servant to her Sister Mrs Mathison in Salisbury Street for12d Pr Week and her Diet, That she hath a ffather who lodgeth against a Butcher's in Bow Street , the other end of Drury Lane maketh Shoes for the Shops, hath one Son on his Charge So that he or are a said Husbands Mother or any other relation that he or she hath is not able to do anything for her hath one Child Martha aged 3 quarters of a year & bigg with Child.
