Examination Text | Margaret Vaughan aged 28 years destitute of lodging upon her oath saith she never was married kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Brumple one of the cooks of St. James's Palace in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of two years at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about three years ago, that she had not been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 30th Day of October 1754 before Benjamin Cox. |
