| Examination Text | Edmond Morgan aged 52 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he had place in his Majesty's Customs and lived in and rented an house in Broad Court in Drury Lane in the Parish aforesaid for the space of seven years at the yearly rent of 40 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about eight years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of ten pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant since. Taken in the workhouse the 21st May 1759. |
