Examination Text | John Austin aged 66 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex upon his oath saith that he is a Tin Plate Worker by trade and lived in and rented an house in New Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of 16 years at the yearly rent of 30 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about 16 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant since.
