Examination TextMary Whiteman aged 29 years lodging at Mr Funck's a Victualler at the sign of the Red Lyon in St Martin's Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Funk in St Martin's Court aforesaid for the space of 14 months all at one time at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about fortnight ago. Sworn the fifth day of April 1771 before Peter Planck. [In a different hand:] N.B. this woman sent out of the House Apr. 13/88, belongs to St. Geo: Hanr. Square & has been remoed from St. Margt. Westmr. & St. Giles abt. 2 or 3 April 88.
