Examination Text | Sarah Pinckes aged about 38 years lodging in the Mews in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields on her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Hill a Victualler at the Barn Ale House in St Martin's Lane in the Parish aforesaid for the space of one whole year and upwards all under one hiring at the yearly wages of 7 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 13 years ago, that she hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 11th Day of October 1784 before Z. Kelly. |
