Examination Text | Elizabeth Claxton aged about 36 years on her oath saith that she is the wife of William Claxton to whom she was married the 19th Day of February in the year 1766, that her said husband is a Taylor by trade and lives in and rents an house in Banbury Court Long Acre in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and has lived in and rented the said house for the space of six years at the yearly rent of 13 pounds besides taxes, that she hath four children by her said husband to wit Sarah Hannah aged six years the last Day of March next, Joseph William aged four years and upwards, Mary Ann aged about two years and Thomas aged five weeks all now with her. Sworn the third Day of February 1784 before Thomas Bullard. |
