| Examination Text | Ann Milton aged about 22 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields on her oath saith that she never was married, that she was by the Governors of the foundling hospital bound an apprentice by an indenture untill she should attain the age of 21 years to Mr Oliver a Figure Maker the corner of the Gate Way leading into the Burial Ground in St Martin's Lane in the Parish aforesaid and there served her said master for the space of between five and or six years and then ran away from her said Master's service. Sworn the 22nd Day of December 1783 before John Collick. |
