Examination TextJoseph Poulter aged about 25 years destitute of lodging upon his oath saith that he was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mr Falconer a Cabinet Maker in that part of Whitcombe Street which is in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served his said master for the space of four years and an half, and then he (this Examinant) went to Sea, that he was never assigned to any other Master kept house rented tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since he left his said master's service. Sworn the 22nd Day of July 1783 before William Hyde.
