| Examination Text | Grace Moyne aged about 52 years lodging at No.5 in Legg Alley in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of William Moyne (gone from her) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of St Martin in the Fields about the 4th March 14 years ago, that her said husband was a Coachman and lived in and rented an house in Langley Street in the Parish aforesaid for the space of 10 years at the yearly rent of 15 pounds eight shillings, quitted the same about five years ago, that her said husband hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the 14th Day of February 1783 before William Hyde. |
