Examination TextMary Hanington aged 35 Years upon her Oath saith she is the Wife of William Hanington (gone abroad) to whom she was Married at the Parish Church of St. Martin in the ffields in the Year 1777 that her said Husband by Trade a Fishmonger & lived in & rented a House at Charing Cross in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields for the space of Seven Years & upwards at the Yearly Rent of Sixty Pounds beside Taxes, quitted the same at Christmas 1784 since which he hath not Rented a Tenement of Ten Pounds by the Year paid any Parliamentary or Parochial Taxes nor done any Act whereby to gain any subsequent Settlement that she hath one Child by her said Husband to wit Mary Ann, born August 30th in the Year 1778 now in Saint Martins School. // Sworn this 9th day of April 1788 before Edw Read // [signed Mary Hanington] // CCW // P
