Examination TextRobert Simpson aged 35 Years and upwards removed by an Order of Removal from the Parish of St Giles in the Fields in the County of Middx. to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his Oath saith That he was Bound an apprentice by an Indre. for seven years to Mr. Hinchliff a mason in Long Acre in the said parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served his said Master all the said Term which expired about Fifteen years ago, That he never kept house rented a tenement of ten pounds by the year paid any Parish [sic] nor was a yearly hired Servant in any one place for twelve months together since, That he was Married to his present Wife Jane at the parish church of st. Luke in Old Street about sixteen years ago by whom he hath four children to wit Robert aged about Fifteen years which said Robert never was Bound an Apprentice nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for twelve months together, Elizabeth aged about Ten Years, John aged about Nine Years and William aged about Seven Years now passed with him.
