Examination Text | John Smith aged ffourty years Saith he lodged at one Mrs Williams's in Kinnastons Alley in Bedford Bury where he hath lodged a fortnight Saith he is a Painter and that he was bound an Apprentice by Indenture for seven Years to Daniel Smith his Uncle at Ipswich in Suffolk whom he served there the whole time and that he afterwards was a yearly hired Servant to Samuel Breach in Salisbury Street in the Parish of St Martin in the ffields whom he there served the Space of one entire Year had ten Pounds for the Year and wages Diet and Lodging and that he came thence about thirteen years ago and never kept house rented ten Pounds by the Year paid any parish Taxes since or was a yearly hired Servant since that he was marryed to Catherine his wife at the Hand & Pen at the ffleet near thirteen years ago but has no Child by her |
