Examination TextJohn Underwood aged twenty seven Years lodging at one How's in Mercer Street in this Parish Saith he was bound by Indenture an Apprentice for 7 Years to one James Myrer a Closer of Shoes who then lodged at a house in heming's Row now of Mrs Tull the Coffinmaker where he served near six years of his Time and then his Master and he removed to the House in church Lane agt Moor's Yard & corner of the Passage into Round Court and there he served the Remainder which expired about seven years since was marryed to Susanna his wife at the ffleet about the Time of the Expiration of his said Apprenticeship and hath two Children by her (to wit) Martha aged four years born at one Shaws in the hop Garden in Bedford Bury and Mary aged one year and an half born in Newtoner's Lane Saith he was never kept house rented ten pounds paid any parish Taxes or was a yearly hired Servant Sworn
