Examination TextAnne Elliott aged Twenty four years (in the Workhouse) Saith she was married to Robert Elliot a Bricklayer at the Fleet fifteen Months ago who has been gone from her these Six Months Saith after she was married to him four Months he told her he had been married to and that he had two children by her that she never saw or heard of him since That she was born in Panton Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and was bound Apprentice by Indre for five years to one Catherine Webb a Clear Starcher in Boyle's Head Court in the Strand in the said Parish and lived with her all that time had Diet Lodging & c That she lived as a yearly hired Servant a whole Year longer with her said Mistress in the same House had four Pounds Per Ann Wages Diet and Lodging and also lived a full year at one Hiring with Mr Philips a Grocer in the said Parish and never since lived a year in any Service never kept House of or rented ten Pounds by the Year or paid Parish Taxes and further that her right Name is Anne Bennet Sworn
