Examination TextAgnes Picket aged upwards of Forty Years now in lodging in Stagg's Alley in Bedford Bury on her Oath saith she is the Widow of Andrew Picket who dyed about a Month ago to whom she was marryed at St Clement's Church about Eighteen Years since that he was by trade a Glazier and was bound an Apprentice to one Elizabeth ffinch Widow of John ffinch (which said Elizabeth is now one of the Pewkeepers of St Martin's Church) in the Year 1706 as appears by his Indentures of Apprenticeship and that he served the said Mrs ffinch in Church Court during the Term of Seven Years for which he was bound and that he never kept House rented ten Pounds by the Year since that he was a yearly hired Servant to the said Mrs ffinch after the Expiration of his Apprenticeship and also kept a Shop of Eight Pounds yearly Rent in Church Court aforesaid Saith he never was a yearly hired Servant to any other person than the said Mrs ffinch in Church Court that she hath one Daughter by her said Husband living named Martha aged upwards of three years Sworn the 29th Day of July 1735 Before Jas Fraser The mark of Agnes Picket
