Examination Text | Robert Bye aged twenty seven years (now in the workhousr) Saith he was born in Brick Street in the parish of St George Hanover Square That his Father was a Bricklayer but knows not where he served his time or that never kept house That he this Examinant was a yearly hired servant to one Mr Staggs who kept an alehouse (the sign of the Duke of Malborough's head in St Martins Lane whom he served there three years and an half had Fourty shilings by the year wages Diet and Lodging left the same twelve years ago and never lived a year in any Service since Saith he was never married |
