Examination Text | Robert Johnson aged about thirty Two years past from Saint Mary WhiteChappel with Alice his wife and their three Children To wit John aged about Eight years born in Durham Yard in the Strand Robert aged about three years born in Chambers Street near Goodmans ffields and Henry aged about Seven weeks born near the Ducking Pond in the parish of Saint Mary White Chappelaforesaid Saith he wasMarried to Alice his said Wife at Saint Martins Tabernacle upwards of Nine Years agoe That he was born in Exeter Street in this parish and that he is by Trade a Taylor and was bound an apprentice for seven years to one Mr Horton a Taylor in York Buildings and served him there about four years then he listed himself for a Soldier and never was turned over to any Person afterwards Saith further he never kept House never rented ten pounds by the year paid any Parish Taxes or was a yearly hired servant Removed from St Mary White Chappel |
