Examination Text | John Griffith aged about 52 years in the Workhouse past from St Mary Le Bone saith he is a widower and hath so been about seven years that he is by Trade a Carver and served his Time of 7 years to that Business to one Mr Price then living in White Hart Yard in Castle Street by the Meuse whom he served there about 2 years then his Master removed to Cecil Court and this Examt along with him and continued there about 2 years from thence his Master removed to Hunts Court in St Martins Lane where he served the remainder of his apprenticeship and that he never kept House never rented 10£ Pr Ann paid any Parish Taxes or was a yearly hired servant since the Expiration of his said Apprenticeship |
