Examination TextMary Burton aged 62 Lodging in Langley street in this parish Saith she is the Widow of William Burton who dyed about 2 years agoe to whom she was Married at St Mary le Bone Church about 43 years agoe Saith he was by Trade a Weaver and was bound an Apprentice for Seven Years to one Laicock in Dawsons Alley in Bedfordbury in this parish and Served him there all the Term as she hath heard him say And that he never was a yearly hired Servant Since Saith they kept House in Cooks Alley in St Martins Lane severall Years paid 12£ Pr Ann Rent and parish Taxes left the Same about 7 years agoe and then took a House in Bayliss Alley in the Strand also in this parish which they kept five or six years paid 7 £ Pr Ann Rent and to the Scavenger left the same about 4 years agoe and never kept house Rented 10£ Pr Ann or paid any parochial Taxes Since
