Examination TextElizabeth fforesyth aged abt 50 years past from St George hannover square Saith she is the widow of James fforesyth who died abt 14 or 15 years agoe Saith he was an Apprentice to one Mr Tucker a Marriner Master of a Vessel at Sunderland as he told her, but how long he lived wth him can?t tell, but that he was imprest into the Kings Service at Sea as she hath heard Saith he never was a yearly Servt or housekeeper as she ever heard, he was born at Leith in Scotland Saith she was a yearly hired Servt to One Mr Carry in Oxendon Street in this parish 14 months, had £4 Pr Ann Wages Diet & Lodging left the same abt 14 years agoe and never lived a year in any Service since, Saith her husband was living at the time of her going into ye said Careys Service and that she also had a Child then living Named James ? which said Child was then abt the age of 3 years, and was maintained in the said Mr Careys house (while she lived in his Service) abt half a year at which time it died Saith she before Marriage being then a Singlewoman was a yearly servt to one John Trevor at the Coach & horses the Corner of St James?s Square 4 years & upwds had £3 Pr Ann Wages Diet & Lodging & was married from that Service & was to her first husband Wm Rain & after his decease to her sd husband James fforesyth at the fleet 14 years agoe Saith her sd husband Wm Rann to whom she was married at St James?s Church about 30 years agoe was by Trade a Shoemr & Served his Apprenticeship to his ffather in Northampton where he was born as he told her & never was a yearly Servt or housekeeper as she never heard.
