| Examination Text | Jane Hill Osbaldeston aged about 41 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Benjamin Cox Esq in the Strand in the Parish aforesaid for the space of two years and a quarter at the yearly wages of 7 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about two years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Taken in the workhouse the 16th Day of December 1765. |
