| Examination Text | Ann Austin aged about 31 years (removed from the Parish of St. Paul Covent Garden and now in the workhouse) saith she is the wife of John Austin, a Haberdasher of Hatts to whom she was married at St Saviours Church in Southwark about seven years ago and hath one child by him (to wit) John aged three years now removed with her, that her said husband and she this Examinant lived in and rented a house in Mays Buildings in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of three months and upwards and agreed to pay at the rate of 30 pounds per ann. for the same which they quitted about a fortnight ago.
