Examination TextElizabeth Kied aged twenty two Years Lodging at one Mrs Lamb's in Bedford Bury Saith that she is the Wife of Daniel Kied now sick in the Hospitall at Chatham being lately come from the Baltick Seas, That she was Married to him at the Parish Church of Stepney five yrs the 4th day of December last, Saith he is a Scotsman That he is by Trade a Taylor and Served his time to that Trade in Scotland, from whence he came to London about ten Years agoe and then took a Lodging where & in St Martin's Lane he continued to Lodge till , within this Year or thereabouts, he went to the Baltick Seas, That he was never a yearly hired Servant or Housekeeper as she knoweth Saith she (before her marriage with her said Husband then being a Singlewoman) was a yearly hired Servant to one Mr Hayes a Taylor who Lodged at Mr Duncomb's in Salisbury Street three years together, had £4 by the Year Wages Diet and Lodging, left that Service about a Year before she Married her said Husband, and never was a yearly hired Servant Servant to any Person since hath two Children vizt: Jane aged four Years the 8th of October last born at Mr Gorm's in ffeathers alley in Bedford Bury & Daniel aged 2 Years the 6th of Octr last born at the abovesaid Mr Lambs.
