| Examination Text | Mary Cowell aged about 36 years Lodging at one Mr Reddin's in Childs Court in Drury Lane Saith that she is the Wife of Robert Cowell who went for the Indies some time since, That she was married to him at the Parish Church of St: Lawrence in Readin in Com Berks about 14 Years agoe Saith they kept house in Eagle Court in the Parish of St: Martin in the ffields four Years, paid £15 by the year Rent and to the poor left that house about Lady day last was a 12 months and then took a Cellar under the abovesaid Mr Reddin's house in Eagle Court aforesaid wherein she hath Lodged ever since, hath three Children Vizt: Mary Ann aged about ten Years Robert aged upwards of four years & Martha aged upwards of two Years. |
