Examination Text | Elizabeth Lane aged 37 years destitute of lodging upon her oath saith she never was married never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a hired servant for one whole year in any one place, that she was bound an apprentice by indenture to one Mrs Atkinson, a Child's Coat Maker in Great Wild Street in the Parish of St Giles in the Fields whom she served there about two months, and then her said mistress removed into Long Acre in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields where she served her time out which expired about 10 years ago. Sworn this third Day of November 1746 before Daniel Gach. |
