Examination TextCatherine Yates aged 45 years destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she is the widow of William (who has been dead this 16 years) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of St Margarets 21 years ago, that he was a Barber and Peruke Maker by trade, but can't tell where he served his time, that he was born in Scotland, that he lived in and rented an house in Harthorne Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of six years at 15 pounds per ann. rent, quitted the same 18 years ago and never kept house since or gained any other settlement, that she has no children living. Sworn the 11th Day of December 1747 before James Fraser.
