Examination TextMary Clark aged 44 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith she is the widow of John (who has been dead about four years) to whom she was married at the Fleet 24 years ago, that he was a Waterman and bound apprentice by indenture for seven years to Robert Dazey in Salisbury Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served his time out, but can't tell when it expired, and has one child living by him to wit William aged 20 years now on board the York Man of War out at sea. Taken this ninth day of September 1747.
