Examination TextRobert Coultas aged about 66 Years lodging at one Mr Wolseys the back side of Russell Court in this Parish, Says he is a Widower & hath been so these ten years, having nol Children living by his late Wife Elizabeth, to him she was Married in Greys Inn Chappel about 35 Years ago, That he is by trade a Taylor and served his time in Amdher in Yorkshire, from whence he came to London about five & forty years agoe, Saith at the time of the Death of King Charles the 2d he Launched at one Mr Johnson's the back side of Round Court & near a Year afterwards, That he kept House in Lumley Court in the Strand six Years, paid £10 Pr Ann Rent but whether any Parochial Taxes can't remember, left the same about 23 or 24 years agoe and never kept house Rented £10 Pr Ann or are paid any Parochial Taxes since, Says he never was a yearly hired servant since the decease of his said Wife.
