| Description | Ann Burton, 11 years old. Her mother, a Chair woman lives No 3 Broad yard, Parker street, Drury Lane & has 3 children. She has known the above named Elizabeth Ford 2 years their Parents having lived in the same house. She says, she saw the things, for stealing which she was tried & convicted, dropped by a boy upon the steps, & that E. Ford ran & picked them up & gave them to Petitioner. Upon being closely questioned, she confessed E. Ford's story, viz, that she stole them out of the house to be true. Judgment was respited & she was recommended by the Court to the Refuge. Admitted. |
