The sd. Mr. Bedwell Alledged that he paid
the Raker £10, a Yeare for takeing away the Dirt & Soyle
in the Markett and therefore ought not to pay to the Scavenger
Resolved and Ordered by and with the
Consent of the sd. Mr. Bedwell that he [..] for the future be
Assessed as Clerk of the Markett the sume of £10, Yearly
towards defraying the Charge of the Scavengers for
Cleansing the Streets Etc in this Parish.
Resolved and Ordered by this Board that a
Rate be made for reimburseing the late Surveyors of the
Highways of the Dutchy Side of this Parish the Sume of
£127, odd money by them laid out & Disbursed after the
rate of 2d. in the Pound rents on all the Inhabitants of the
Dutchy Side
of this Parish
Resolved & Ordered by this Board that the
Rate for the necessary releife of the poor of this Parish
for this present Yeare be after the Rate of 1s..2d. in the
Pound rents on all the Inhabitants of this parish.
