Mr. Churchwarden Pyke representing to this Board that
the Yearly Subscriptions for Evening Prayers fall [..]
of in so much that the sd. Prayers cannott be Continued
unless an Annual Subscription be paid by the Church
wardens out of the Publick Moneys for Payment of
the Candles used at sd. Evening Prayers & in Order yt.
so good an Example might not be Dropt but
continued a Motion was made by Mr. Churchwarden
Pyke in pursuance of Notice given in the Church on
Sunday last for that Purpose and Seconded by Mr.
Glinn that the Church wardens pay Yearly out of the
Publick Moneys belonging to this Parish for the Candles
used at said Evening Prayers any Sum not Exceeding
the sum of Eight pounds
Carryed in the Affirmative Nemine Con
Resolved & Agreed that the Church wardens pay
Yearly out of the Moneys belonging to this Parish
for the Candles used at Evening Prayers any Sum
not Exceeding the Sum of Eight Pounds And that
such annual Payment Comence from Christmas last
