Ordered and Agreed that the Church Wardens do
Pay the said Mr. Townsend the said Sum of£50:0S:0D
being the Remainder of his Bill for Building the Steeple
Mr. Gates's Demands of the Parish were as followeth, Paid
Mr. Hoare Carpenter for Work done in the Church
when he was Church Warden £92:0:0:
and Paid Mr. Tregagle his Attorney a Bill of Costs
on Mr. Hoares Bringing an Action against him
on account of the said Work amounting to
£49:3:8 And likewise Paid Mr. John
Chimmon a Bill of Costs on Mr. Bradley the
Clockmaker Sueing for the Money for the Clock
and Chymes amounting to £24:15:0
makeing togeather the Sum of£165:18S:8D
And then A Motion was made and the Severall
Questions were put whether the Ch: Wardens
should Pay the said Mr. Gates the said Three
Severall Sums of £92:£49:3:8
and £24:15:0 so Paid by him as aforesaid.
